Erroneous line breaks (seen on Mac) with new version 2.3

Dear service team,
unfortunately, I had to roll back to version 2.2.3 immediately!
When testing version 2.3, eMails received on my Mac showed =0D=0A (sometimes = =0D=0A) as visible text on the beginning of each eMail line starting from the second line onward.
Also, other codes were visible in the text like =C3=BC or =C3=A4 für German “Umlaut” characters and others.
The roll-back to version 2.23 solved this issue.
You might want to check the reason for this behavior.
Probably, with version 2.3, the eMail is not recognized as an HTML eMail anymore by a Mac.Thank you and kind regards

you just need to go to the plugin’s WordPress page and there you move into the Advanced View (just use this link).
In there you can download a number of past versions including version 2.2.3.
Actually, I got it from there.

I have updated to version 2.3.1 and my first tests show that the update works in my environment!

Let us wait at least for @skaras feedback as his errors even concerned the test email. Therefore I did not switch to “solved”, yet.
