We are experiencing an error 10426 when using this plugin. It says “ PayPal error (10426): An error (10426) occurred while processing your PayPal payment. Please contact the store owner for assistance.”

Upon checking some other threads, this is caused by a mismatch between the cart total and amount total in the checkout page. Our website’s is setup to hide the shipping options on the cart page. Once the customer is at the checkout page, this is the only time they will be able to select a shipping option and a price calculation depending on the address entered. We made it this way to avoid confusion on the shipping calculation difference while on the cart page since an. address is not yet entered. With this setup, for example, if the cart total is $100 and at the checkout page the total will be $150 ($100 + $50 shipping), this seems to be causing this mismatch amount error. Is there a fix or possible solution to bypass this default setup of PayPal Checkout plugin?

    Hi @jjfc,

The error 10426 was related to these issues(below) and were fixed about 2years back and we haven’t seen it appear again. Are you using the latest version of the Paypal checkout payment gateway plugin? If not could you update and check for these errors?
