    Hi @ramzii,

Thanks for reaching out. Based on the error you’re reporting there may be a hosting configuration impacting the Site Kit dashboard, as it did for users in this GitHub issue..

So we can determine more on the cause in your case please share the following:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
    2. Has the dashboard worked for you previously, without error?
    3. Do you see any warnings or errors when checking your Site Health status (Tools > Site Health > Status), which differs from your Site Health information requested above? Such errors may include REST endpoint references.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

    Hi @ramzii,

I’m just following up with you to check whether the error remains? If so please share the information requested above and we can investigate further.

    Hi James,

Thanks for the help. The problem still persists.

I just filled in the Google docs questionnaire.

    Thank you.

Thanks for sharing the additional insights @ramzii, and sorry to hear you’re encountering the same error.

I’ve checked your Site Health information and nothing obvious stands out. I’ve also checked your site and I don’t find anything unusual that may be resulting in this error.

From reviewing your Site Health information which you kindly shared I don’t see any errors or messages from your Site Health status, as requested above. Your Site Health status differs to your Site Health information, and it can be useful to help determine any hosting/cURL related errors or misconfigurations. Can you please check for and share any errors or notices when checking your Site Health status (Tools > Site Health > Status)?

Along with sharing your Site Health status you may wish to check does the same error occur if you set up Site Kit on a new site from the same hosting platform.

Hi @jamesosborne, thanks for your swift and thorough reply.

The notice that I see and can’t seem to resolve:

The REST API did not process the context query parameter.

    Could this be the cause?

I have Site Kit running successfully on other sites with the same hosting platform.

Nice troubleshooting @ramzii! This may possibly be impacting Site Kit set up. From reviewing this error online there can be multiple causes. Can you first of all revisit your sites permalinks (Settings > Permalinks) and press the save button, which can help address issues with your htaccess file. You may even wish to temporary set the permalink structure to “Plain” before revisiting your Site Kit dashboard once more.

If the same occurs after flushing your permalinks I’ll provide you with some troubleshooting steps that can help rule out third party plugin conflicts, by using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.

Hi @jamesosborne, thanks for your detailed reply.

Interesting debugging plugin! Unfortunately I could not find an error using this method. I even tried switching to a default theme, the results are the same with Google Site kit:

`Cannot read properties of null (reading '0')

        in SearchConsoleStats
        in div
        in div
        in Widget
        in WithWidgetSlug(Widget)
        in SearchFunnelWidget
        in WidgetRenderer
        in div
        in Cell
        in WidgetCellWrapper
        in div
        in Row
        in div
        in div
        in Grid
        in WidgetAreaRenderer
        in div
        in WidgetContextRenderer
        in DashboardMainApp
        in DashboardEntryPoint
        in RestoreSnapshots
        in ErrorHandler
        in ThemeProvider
        in StrictMode
        in Root`

    How do we continue?

Appreciate you taking the time to check for the same error with the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin, and sorry to hear that didn’t resolve the issue. Based on other reports of the same, and REST error output in your Site Health status, can you check your Nginx server configuration with your hosting provider, while also checking does the same occur with another site on the same hosting platform?

    Hi @ramzii,

I’m just following up with you to check whether you’ve had a chance to check the above with your hosting provider, or perform a check with another site on the same hosting platform?
