• I am getting this message:

Something’s not working. It looks like the API call to GoToWebinar isn’t succeeding. This may be because you are on a trial account. Unfortunately API calls can’t be made to GoToWebinar accounts on a trial. If you do have a full GoToWebinar licence please try re-authenticating the plugin again by pressing the ‘Click here to get Auth and Key’ button in the plugin settings. You should also clear the cache or turn the cache off in the plugin settings and this should resolve the issue.

Also the log shows: 400 invalid_request – Invalid request.

Problem is that we are paying for the pro account. So this doesn’t apply. We already created a new Oath app over again and checked the URL defined on the app was correct and still getting the same issues.

    Hi @moblitas,

What you can try is using our application instead as your application may be running into API limits.

So what you can do is go to the General Options tab, clear out the settings for the consumer key and secret fields, save the settings, refresh the page, and click the “Click here to connect with GoToWebinar” button at the top of the page and see how that goes. Thanks,

Just tried that and it is still not working:

    • cleared cache
    • removed app id and secret
    • saved settings
    • Hit the “CLICK HERE TO CONNECT WITH GOTOWEBINAR”
    • The screen refreshed and the button is still there. See this.
    • The page still shows the same errors

Thanks for using WP GoToWebinar. The shortcode has been implemented correctly. This page is required if you wish to display GoToWebinar registration forms on your own website. However this page requires a parameter at the end of the URL when accessed so the page knows what registration form to display for a given webinar. So on your upcoming webinars display when you click on a register link it will go to this page and send a parameter to it so that page knows what registration form to display. So if you were expecting a form here don’t worry everything is working

    Hi @moblitas,

I am not entirely sure in this instance. Normally that error would only show if 1) There are no upcoming webinars on the account or 2) it’s not a pro account.

If you are sure of this, then unfortunately I am not sure of what the issue could be.

I would recommend checking out the pro version here: https://northernbeacheswebsites.com.au/wp-gotowebinar-pro/. It has a lot of additional features, but more importantly it comes with a functionality guarantee and more extensive support on your actual site. It means if I can’t get things working you get a 100% refund, and the issue you have raised here would most certainly be covered under this guarantee.

    Thanks,

Just a quick update. I verified we have 1 webinar active and also that we have a Pro account.

I did more tests (setup new Oauth app, set new secret, etc…) and seems same issues are there.

Here is a list of the shortcodes I tested and still same issue.

    Hi @moblitas,

Thanks for that info. I am very sorry in this instance I am not sure what the issue could be. I would recommend the pro version so I can provide personal support for your website. And as mentioned this comes with a money-back guarantee. Thanks,
