    Hi,
    Since the last update, the downloaded files have a 600 permission instead of 644 when I addind a new file.

    So, by clicking on the link, there is a mistake, mod_security is deactivated and I update my permalinks twice

    Click on ” VENDREDI 19H00 – L’INTER LIGUE DU VENDREDI / Semaine 11 / Publié le 2 novembre 2019 à 10 h 10 min ”

    Hmm, this plugin doesn’t chmod the file. There is no code inside that does it. So my guess is some type of OS level thing that is modifying newly added file?

    Here is the answer from the host::
    I checked the extension settings from the administrator interface but found no anomalies. So I pushed the investigation towards the source code and I manage to detect an error in the code of the file’download-add.php’ line 39. Also I suspect a problem with the functioning of the “Function: File Permission” in the file “wp-downloadmanager.php”.

    J’ai vérifié les paramètres de l’extension depuis l’interface administrateur mais sans trouver d’anomalie. Donc j’ai poussé l’investigation vers le code source et j’arrive à détecter une erreur dans le code du fichier ‘download-add.php’ ligne 39. également je soup?onne un souci au niveau de la fonctionne ‘Function: File Permission’ dans le fichier ‘wp-downloadmanager.php’.

    move_uploaded_file() is PHP function https://www.php.net/manual/en/function.move-uploaded-file.php. The wp-downloadmanager.php has not been touched for 3 years https://github.com/lesterchan/wp-downloadmanager/blob/master/download-add.php. Last modified is on 9 Nov 2016. So it is impossible to be the last update causing an issue for you.
