Error 404 Function required

    Error 404 relates to a file not found, “/wp-includes/load.php. The directory WP-Includes does not exist. Can anyone please tell me how I can correct this error?

  • Check where you have your wordpress installed using ftp or server and there should be three folders and one them is wp-includes folder. if you do not have it you can upload one of same version from a download.

    Thank you and you are correct, the download left out that (wp-includes) dir. I have successfully downloaded and created the web pages.
