    Hi there,

I am currently working on my uncle’s website and am wanting to use OceanWP with Elementor, which I currently have working fluidly on my own site.

I have installed OceanWP theme along with Ocean Extra, and the first thing I wanted to do was go into pages/home/edit and change content layout to 100% width. When I do this, I receive an Error 404 message. Note there is no error 404 message when previewing the site and clicking links, only when I click update.

This did not happen to my own personal site so I’m rather confused.

    So far, I have:
    – Re-saved permalinks to refresh.
    – uninstalled and reinstalled the theme and plugin multiple times now.
    – Deactivated and reactivated all plugins.

Nothing seems to be working. When I use other themes or even turn off Ocean Extra everything seems to be completely fine.

    Any idea on a fix?

    Thanks in advance,
    Blake

Hi @mythless, I put the answer here in case another user would encounter the same issue. The problem was due to an outdated PHP version, the user set his PHP version to 7.0 and the problem is resolved.
