Error 414 when completing Analytics auth.

same here. I try to run it from a multisite conf.

@maximebeguin I also get the same at another wordpress installation. So it must be a bug in the plugin.

Same here – it seems the URL is too long for the server to process.

My site is using iThemes security and I found this on the GitHub forums for this plugin. If you’re using it too, this should work for you.

“Thanks for reporting. If you are using a security or Firewall plugin there can be limited on long URL strings, which could be the cause.

If you are using iThemes security can you uncheck this option and see if it resolves the issue.”

@stefanjohansson I’m curious to know what version of Site Kit you are using? The iThemes configuration you applied was an issue primarily for older versions of Site Kit. You can find out more on this here.

I installed the first time less than a week ago, from the WP Dashboard, so it was one of the most (if not the most) recent version.

@stefanjohansson @maximebeguin @nelsoncarterconsulting Thanks for the input. I’ve checked using that same iThemes configuration although I’m unable to replicate the same setup issue.

Do you have any other configuration setting apart from the default settings applied?
