    Hi Richard, fantastic job.

I try to put ur plugin in my website, the problem is after the install… all the site (wp-admin and .com) show me the error 500.

My solution is remove the code in the .htacess, but, if i make that, the check in pluggin appear “disable”.

The “PageSpeed” in Google Developers show me the notice: your site has the gzip compression, but appear not available (error 500)

What can i do in this case?, in this moment, have the plugin disable.

For recover your site, you need to remove the code in the htaccess file on the root folder.

Do you have access to this file?

Hi A Place for the Arts,

As eportugues says, you have to remove the code in the .htaccess file from your website. You need to do this via FTP or your server panel.

    Hi eportugues,

Sorry for the late response, you can also enable the compression without the htaccess method. Just enable the compression without checking the warning box. This will only compress PHP files, but it will give you a small speed boost, and it is enough for google…
