error 500 on settings save

  • I’m unable to save edited User Control settings; not sure why, as has worked fine in past. Error console msg pulls up an error 500 with whitescreen:

    [Error] Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (HTTP/2.0 500) (admin.php, line 0)

    Btw, default settings suggest that Subscriber role has access to certain views (All Content, Nominated, etc.), but my Author role users can’t access, so I’m not sure if this is correct.

    We use WPEngine host, if we need to talk with host as to source of 500 error (I see no related errors on server error log).

    Without fixing this, my editors don’t have access to PressForward windows…thanks for your quick reply.
