• I updated the plugin WP User Manager today to Version 2.0.4.

Now I see a huge banner in the dashboard (on every page), saying:
“WP User Manager needs to update your database to the latest version. The following process will make updates to your site’s database. Please create a complete backup before proceeding.”

When I click the button “Upgrade database” I get a “Error 500”:
    This page isn’t working
https://www.alleaktien.de is currently unable to handle this request.
    HTTP ERROR 500

How can I fix this? What is the real problem here?

    Hi @michaellow,

The only way to find out what the issue is, is to read server logs. Could you please send an email to support[at]wpusermanager.com with your site url and a temp ftp account? I’ll access the site’s error log so I can see what exactly the issue is.

Hey Alessandro, I’ve emailed you ?? (it’s about the site AlleAktien.de)

Hi there @alessandrotesoro per the forum guidelines, please do not ask for access credentials here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/guidelines/#the-bad-stuff

As the plugin’s developer, it’s ok to ask them to email you, but if your plan is to acquire access credentials, you’ll need to ask for that elsewhere (like in a reply to their email).

This rule is in place to avoid the rather disastrous situation of folks providing their access credentials in a public forum reply, which fortunately did not happen here.

    Hey @macmanx,

Wasn’t aware of that, I’ll make sure it doesn’t happen again, thank you.

    Hi @michaellow,

    I’ll be replying shortly.
