Error 500 while updating Pages

  • I am getting an error code of
    “Error 500 – Internal server error

    An internal server error has occured!
    Please try again later.”

    whenever I am updating a page. The page will actually update if I check it in another open window or tab, but I still can’t seem to get rid of the error message. I’ve deactivated all plugins-that actually seemed to make all the pages disapper. I deleted and reinstalled the plugins, the pages now show up, but I am still getting the error message. It doesn’t seem to effect the comments or posts…only the pages. Any thoughts?
