I received this messange since 4 days and I can’t upload new photos on the plugin nextGEN.

“The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.”

I can upload the photos in a new gallery, but when I insert the gallery inside the album and ask to update the page, exit this message.

I can I solve that? Instead I have to change the plugin with another.

All the other pages of the website work fine, and also the photo gallery work fine online. The problem is only with the new add.

    Thank You

    Hi @leonardomaleci,

We are sorry to hear of the problem. First, please let us know how many albums have you created with NextGen? We’ve seen cases in the past when the issue had to do with a very high amount of albums created.

Also, we are wondering if you can check with the hosting provider to see if they can increase PHP time_limit and also bump up the CPU and RAM resources if the requests are causing an overflow during this operation.

The amount it’s now about 110 albums with about 3000 photos, and I have to add many more.

If this is a limit of the plugins, I have to change for sure.

I tried to increase the limit of php, but the problem remains.

There is some way to solve this problem?

NextGEN Gallery does not have any limits. The good working condition of it is based on your server capabilities, make sure your site has at least the minimum requirements https://www.imagely.com/docs/requirements/ and also execution times of at least 300.

You can ask your hosting to check the server logs and see if there is any indication of what is causing this.

    Please keep us posted.
