• Hi,

I’m receiving a 503 error while performing scan with your plugin. It stops in the 4th item, and so after a while, displays the above mentioned error.

My host said me the following, after verify the issue for me:

“We investigated your case and found that the reported issue is from the plugin end as from server end we checked everything seems fine. 503 service unavailable error comes indicating that server is still functioning properly but the process that opted to return the 503 response code. I would recommend you to escalate this to your plugin author to see why it is throwing this error If incase it points to any server settings we can gladly check that for you and there can be multiple factors for it and plugin author can better analyze it for you. ”

    Can you please help me?

P.S. my server is running PHP 7.3 and my wordpress is 5.2.2.

Hi @marcoszy. I’ve reported this error to the development team working on an update to this plugin.

In the mean time, have you tried running the plugin from a local copy of the site? This would help get around any server-side issues (assuming that’s what this is), and it’s preferred to run the “linting” this plugin does in a non-production environment.

    Thanks for the feedback!

    Hi,

Thank you very much. I’ll try in a local copy. Thanks for your support. ??

I’m also having this issue. However, in my case… immediately following the 503, my site is basically dead. All subsequent access returns 503 and I have to restart apache to continue.

I’m running plugin 1.5 on WP 5.3.2 with PHP 5.6.40.

If I disable all of my plugins except the compatibility checker, the scan works fine… but that sort of defeats the point.
