• Theis plugin does a great job but has a tendcy of conflicting with woodmart theme and other selected themes if not all to a very bad and dispaointing state of Error 508.

So once it did this on several occassion, I manualy removed the configurations it sets in htaccess file then rush back to the dashboard to click on the rest setting button provided within the plugin. After this, had to have it deactivated/deleted then the site comes back to normal.

Developers to check the plugin with regards to this issue as this deflated my eagerness of wanting to get the pro version with more featues.

    Hi,
    Thanks for your feedback.
Generally, the server Error 508 means your account is exceeding one of your allocated resource limits. Still, the plugin is light and in combination with a cache code should not make a difference in terms of resources usages. I believe the problem comes from .htaccess rewrite rules, most probably your server puts an usage limit on that too, hence the problem as the plugin heavily rely on Apache rewrite to change the urls to custom.

So i don’t think is a particular issue with mentioned theme but a server limitation, for which reason i recommend to change your provider to something else ( this is the first time i see such limitation ). The plugin has been tested with few hosting solutions and worked with no issues.

If you think there’s something else, i can still help further.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Many thanks for your feedback. You are right, the site is on shared hosting and just alittle limited on resources. However, i tested the plugin with flatsome theme and some other themes i can’t really remember and there was harmony between the themes and the plugin. But in the case of the particular theme = 508 more especialy when you do the Theme, wp Includes, wp Content, Plugins

Asked my hosting company and they also advised upgrading to plans with more resources.
I hope i am understading this correctly. Could this mean that when you on a hosting plan with limited resources the plugin might not help?

    Thanks

    Hi,
This still should work just fine, even on low resource hosting. Also there shouldn’t’ be any difference while using a theme or another.
Can you try to disable WP Hide and see if the error go away? If so, activate it back and try to disable some of the options, to see if makes a difference. I would suggest to turn off the Rewrite > Root Files, Rewrite > Headers, Rewrite > Html, those options are still very light in server usage but possible most busy compared to others.

Lastly, did you tried to use a cache plugin? Some servers calculate peek resource usage and stop the code execution after a while. Using a cached data really should make it near zero usage.

    Thanks
