• Hi I’m getting this error again:

    (It appears at the top of my blog with no posts and won’t let me do anything in wp-admin)

    WordPress database error: [Can’t create/write to file ‘/tmp/#sql_65be_0.MYI’ (Errcode: 13)]
    SELECT DISTINCT * FROM wp_posts WHERE 1=1 AND post_date_gmt <= ‘2005-12-22 15:40:59’ AND (post_status = “publish”) GROUP BY wp_posts.ID ORDER BY post_date DESC LIMIT 0, 10

    And I don’t know what to do, last time a friend did something to make it go away, but he’s not available

    Hi podz,

    It’s my server, do you think I should contact my server company?

    By the way I try to restart Apache and I get an error, could that be a conflict?

    A quick Google search produces a number of helpful suggestions.

    Thanks, so I should SSH into my server and do this:

    sudo chown -R mysql /usr/local/mysql/*

    ?

    Thanks again

    ian2: I don’t know. I’ve not seen that error before. I was merely pointing out one way in which you can help yourself. If you do what you asked above, and it works, please let us know! If it doesn’t work, let us know that, too; and be sure to tell us what does fix the problem so that this thread can help others in the future.

    Fixed. It was something with two caches on my server both fighting to cache the site.
