Error activating with New Registrant Validation Email

    Hi,
    thank you so much for this nifty plugin!

    Now I encounter the following error:
    When I register as new user, I receive an email “Activate your account” as expected.
    When I click on the link “activate…” I receive the error Failed security check, expired Activation Link due to duplication or date.

    The new user is not working but he is registered. So I can edit him as admin. Another thing: The role=”participant” inserted in the shortcode has no effect.
    Perhaps you have an idea.
