    Hello,

I am running WordPress on Wamp in order to install an upgrade from 1.5.2 to the newest version. I am getting an error when I attempt to update my permalinks. I am assuming it is related to the .htaccess file, since I attempted the upgrade without the .htaccess file and none of the permalinks worked. With it though I still cannot access ‘Options’, ‘Permalinks’. It comes up error which it defines as an ‘Apache.exe error: Error referencing memory…’. Please help.

Well, it would seem it was an Apache problem afterall. I installed the updated Wamp with Apache 2 and the update problem worked. It seems that the update cannot be done with the old Apache software.

I am splitting my blog into 3 blogs on my home computer before uploading. I am attempting to copy my site for all the blogs, so I have 3 identical blogs on the same database, since my server only allows me 1 databese. It is important to note that this can be done on the old WordPress software but not the new software. I did it by changing the filenames before putting them in the database and then changing the config.php file.

    Just for your information.
