Error after changing domains

    Hi

    I’ve just made a site live which involved changing domains and moving servers and once I’d switched over I was confronted with a load of warnings at the top of the dashboard screen:

    Warning: fopen(/home/avidcrea/public_html/kubokitchens.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/wp-contact-slider/wp_contact_slider.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/sites/k/kubokitchens.co.uk/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4785

Warning: fread() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in /var/sites/k/kubokitchens.co.uk/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4788

Warning: fclose() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in /var/sites/k/kubokitchens.co.uk/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4791

    In the first warning it seems to be showing the old server (/home/avidcrea/public_html/kubokitchens.co.uk/) then the new server (/var/sites/k/kubokitchens.co.uk/) so I’m guessing that’s the problem but not sure how to fix it – I’ve tried uninstalling/reinstalling.

    What happened after Uninstalling and Re-installing and then activating; did the error changed?

    Hi

    No everything else is working fine, but it was the server/domain change that broke it. Somewhere it must be referring to the old server?

    I’ve actually managed to fix this by going into the options table in the database and editing the fs_accounts row – changing the old location to the new one.

    Perhaps this needs to be a relative path or something like that… I don’t really know what I’m talking about though!

    Hi, I am getting this problem exactly after migrating from local to live domain space with all-in-one site migration. Only for this plugin as well.

    Could you tell me where to find this “options table in the database and editing the fs_accounts row” ?

    I’d be tempted to wait for the plugin author to reply but I went into phpMyAdmin, clicked on the database and then searched for part of the path which is in the first line of the error message – the bit pointing to the old web server.

    Thanks! Found the same line @djbdjb was talking about in options value for fs_accounts – there are two references to my original locally hosted wordpress site (C:\xampp/htdocs/WP…).

    Note: my site worked fine even with this error running but showed 3 lines of error in the CMS constantly

    Hi there!

    @djbdjb @tiffanytsai with version 1.9.14 we have added fix for this issue. Now you just need to deactivate and activate after migration and things will get fixed on their own. No database digging required.
