I used a duplicator plugin to clone a custom post Pod – it worked well except for one thing. The name of the original pod has been updated to the clone’s name in the admin menu. Can anyone help me find how to fix this, or do I need to delete the clone and start over from scratch without duplicating?

    Hi @simonmaddox,

What duplicator plugin did you use? This sounds like an issue with that plugin, not Pods, since Pods merely registers the custom post types.

I’m using Duplicate Post plugin (https://duplicate-post.lopo.it/)

It seems just to be the names used in the admin menu and sub-menu items. These are showing as different to the Pods labels configuration for that Pod.

This screenshot shows 2 custom post types on the left of the admin menu with the same name, Community Facilities: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XWUxulbcinkmdfqI9zLRVfj0aWR0Ic_c/view?usp=sharing

This one is the labels for Community Activities: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XMP5eMXPdcAn0MHICv1jLWCjUslBq1lb/view?usp=sharing

Can you tell me how these admin menu labels are stored?

    Hello @simonmaddox

I thought you meant duplicating posts, not Pods.
Duplicating Pods isn’t done with that plugin, it’s a Pods feature.
I can’t reproduce your issue however..

Could you try to clear the Pods cache? (Pods > Settings > Clear Pods Cache).
Also verify that all labels are correct, the Admin UI tab has a menu label/name option for example.

    Cheers, Jory

Seems to have cleared now. Clearing cache made no difference (opened in private browser too). Adding an Admin UI menu name made no difference. Adding an Admin UI Admin Bar Name (singular) did update the admin bar on left to correct plural label. Strange….

    Hello @simonmaddox,

I didn’t mean clearing cache from the browser but from Pods itself (Pods > Settings).
Anyway, good to hear you resolved the issue. Unfortunately I couldn’t reproduce your issue so I am unable to determine a bug.
