  • Same happening to me, can’t open post editor while the plugin is enabled.

Thanks for opening a support topic and providing the errors encountered. We did have some reports of conflicts with v2.1 for plugins or themes that has particular AMP functions active. We’ve made changes and since released v2.1.1, which it looks like you have active at present.

Does the error persist using the plugin version 2.1.1?

@souldesigns I’ve responded to your own support topic now, we can work with you on your case specifically from there.

Yes, it is happening with 2.1.1!

@mark8888 As a quick workaround, you can turn off AMP Developer Tools in your WordPress user profile. That will prevent the amp-block-validation.js script from being added.

Otherwise, to help us identify where specifically the error is coming from, if you would please install the 2.1.x development build which can be found at https://github.com/ampproject/amp-wp/wiki/Development-Builds

This includes the unminified scripts so the error stack trace will provide us with where the error is coming from.

@souldesigns If you can do the same that would be helpful.

@mark8888 what version of WordPress are you on?

@mark8888 Are you on WordPress 5.5.4 (or earlier) by any chance? If so, the issue is that the @wordpress/compose dependency bundled with your version of WordPress is too old and does not provide the necessary functionality required for the plugin to work.

If you can, updating to WordPress v5.6 or later should resolve your issue.

    Hey,

Indeed, updated to 5.7 and it worked. But i think i was on 5.6 before and still wasn’t working.

Hmm that’s weird. I can confirm its working on WordPress 5.6 and later. Nevertheless, glad to hear it’s working for you!
