    Hello there fantastic plugin Guru,

I love your plugin and have used it from way back :0)
I uploaded version 2.1 I had to a new site I am working on and could not see some of the off/on things. I tried changing the theme but that did not work. I installed your new version but I get this error…

Catchable fatal error: Argument 1 passed to ResponsiveMenu\Form\Text::render() must be an instance of ResponsiveMenu\Models\Option, null given, called in /xxx/content/plugins/responsive-menu/src/app/Form/Text.php on line 9

I can email the whole error if you want.

    Please help,
    Thank you so much.

    Hi there,

It sounds like either the database tables didnt create correctly or the options didnt get updated correctly.

Can you check your database to see if the table “wp_responsive_menu” has been created?

    All the best

No the table is not there.

    Hi Kelly,

Can you find the option in the wp_options table called “RMVer” and change this to “2.8.9” and then log back into your WordPress admin area.

If this doesn’t fix it then there may be an issue with either you being on a very o?d version of mysql or your mysql user doesnt have permissions to create tables.

Let me know how you get on!

    Hi,
    The error went away.
The option under “Technical”, to use shortcode is not there again.

Thank you for taking time to help me!

The option is there but only “off”, not on.

    Hi Kelly,

You mean clicking it doesnt turn it from “off” to “on”?

It seems impossible that there can be an off and no on as it is just a html element.

Yes, all items there only have an “off”.

    Hi Kelly,

This is very odd as there is no fancy coding involved, not even any javascript so there is no way that clicking it can not turn it from “on” to “off” in my mind.

Can you send me an admin login to your site via email so I can take a closer look?

    All the best

    Thread Starter Kelly

    (@raincity)

Wouldn’t want to post admin info here, do you have an email?

Don’t know if it makes a difference but I am using WPMU.
The old version worked great though.

PS. There is no “on” radio button.

    Hi Kelly,

I said to please send it via email, I would never suggest to post it here – [email protected]

And what happens when you click the button that says “off”? Its just a simple click toggle button.

    All the best

    Hey that worked fine!
I was confused about the button as it looks like a radio button.

I think your plugin is the best free responsive menu by far.
Thank you for all of your hard work and SUPPORT.

Thank you for your kind help :0) !

    Hello,

Even I am getting same error on installing plugin, also check database neither “wp_responsive_menu” table created nor RMVer option available in wp-options.

    Please help.
