• Hi,
After updating to WordPress 5.5 I am getting the following message –

This page generated the following warnings:
    /wp-content/plugins/ocean-extra/includes/metabox/assets/js/metabox.min.js: ‘ready’ event is deprecated

I’m just wondering if there is going to be an update soon?

    Hi,

I apologize for the delay in response.

Please try to update the theme and plugin to the latest version and clear the cache and check.

If you still facing the issue, please try to install the Enable jQuery Migrate helper plugin and check. https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper/

    Hi there,
I am running the latest theme 1.8.7 and plugin 1.6.5.

It is the “Enable jQuery Migrate helper” plugin that is reporting the issue.

    Love your work, thanks.

The link you told me to go to does not have any solution, all you said is we will take a look and try, you said it is not harmful but I cant post new post but it does not let me post in elementore, besides, why leaving a warning just because it does not caouse any harm?

    Hello,
I can assure you, the notice you saw or see in regards to the deprecated function with Ocean Extra is not a bug, and it will be resolved. It also does not cause any feature to break on your website or prevents you from publishing.

If you’re unable to publish, I am positive that you are seeing a different warning/error message. Can you please say what that error is?

Sometimes, during updates, WordPress can temporarily get a bit “confused” and you can experience publishing problems, regardless of the theme and plugins you are using.

Also, this issue is most of the time resolved by going to Settings > Permalinks, and hitting the save button a couple of times to “refresh” permalinks.

If this doesn’t solve your problem, try deactivating all plugins, then enabling one by one, and check post publishing by refreshing the page after enabling each.

Please do let us know if you were able to resolve the problem.
