    Hi Goncalo,

    Thanks for reaching out, and sharing details of the issue you’ve been encountering. From reviewing your public REST endpoints I noticed that you may have some site references as not secure (http), despite your website already following best practices and being fully secure (https).

    As I suspect this may be the cause can you ensure both your site records refer to the https version of your site when reviewing your WordPress general settings (Settings > General” from your wp-admin dashboard)? After doing so please attempt Site Kit set up once more.

    Let me know how you get on with the above. If the same occurs please share the final URL you land back on after the redirect, from your browsers address bar (on the same screen where you see this error).

    Adjusted. In addition to changing HTTP to HTTPS, to be able to connect I had to disable a security plugin I use that changes the internal paths of theme, plugin and file URLs.
    After that it worked again, I reactivated the security plugin and it continues to work normally.
