Hi, released a new update 2.0.1 which fixes that bug and also deletes data upon uninstall.

I have tested it and it can successfully scan and show report. If you still have any problem, please say.

Feedbacks like yours really helps. Thanks.

Thanks for trying, but still the SCAN FAILED error shows up

    I think it’s a debug issue maybe.
And I need your help. Please follow the steps:

    1. Go to the Seo Status page.
    2. Chose a new page and attempt a scan
    3. It’ll show SCAN FAILED. Click ok and refresh the Seo Status page.
    4. Now, see if the last attempted table row has changed it’s look or not.

Does it have stars, numbers of images, links, shares and keyword. Or it looks like before?

If you kindly provide me that info, it will be easy to determine the issue.

I’m working towards making the plugin more useful with some unique features. Will solve these problems in upcoming version in 1 week or 2.

I can tell you already, yes, the status changes and the table is populated

Thanks for the info. I have found the bug, missed it during testing. Will push a new update in few hours.

I hope im not so demanding, does you new version check the full markup against schema.org? In the old version it can detect only a very small portion of it, my website is this. All recipes and pages have schema.org “recipe” and/or “person”. (the old version could detect only the “nutritionalinformation” within the “recipe” markup, but didn’t detect anything else, such “videoObject” etc.

No, I removed the rich snippet schema altogether. I have planned it for future versions.
All I can say, if you stay in touch a little in this month or 2, you will get a very useful scanning plugin. As i’m trying to make it better constantly.

    (@davidebabylonia)

Yes I will, as this plugin is very helpful and so far, the only one real SEO scanner. The only unfriendly thing is the absence of a bulk scan and a scan for php generated pages, such as archive, tags and category.

A bulk scan is ideal to seach duplicated content, such as page title and meta description.

There is a cute small program called Screaming Frog SEO Spider from which you can take ideas of extra data to scan

That’s a great suggestion. Already in my list ??
An update 2.0.2 has been pushed. Please use it, hope it will work. I have tested it in 3 different environments.
    Let me know…

nothing to do, still SCAN FAILED, I have turned on the WP_DEBUG but I have no errors concerning your plugin, do you need any special information?

    Thread Starter davidebabylonia

    (@davidebabylonia)

NEWS, I found out the problem, your plugin conflicts with AUTOPTIMIZE plugin

    Plugin Author Nir

    (@nirjhar_lo)

I didn’t find any conflict. But fixed 2 more bugs and also tested with your webpages from client side.
They are just fine. See 2 results: one and two

Install version 2.0.3 and let me know. Thanks.

Now it works, it scans, but may I know which parser you use for scan markup error? Because my pages are all valid HTML5 and I don’t understand why your plugin trigger so many errors
