• im upgrading from 1.5 to 1.5.1 but when I upgraded it gave me some stupid error

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: get_currentuserinfo() in /home/underbur/public_html/wp-blog-header.php on line 169

now when I try to get into the admin cp it gives me a different error

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: auth_redirect() in /home/underbur/public_html/wp-admin/admin.php on line 8

Anyone know what I did wrong?

  • Did you run the upgrade.php script in the wp-admin folder?

    Yeah I did.

Do you get this error when you access that script? If so did you download the zip version of the script? I had this happen to me also, different error, but all I did was download the tar version and that worked for me.

I did download the zip version

https://www.underburn.com (is where that main error resides)

what did you do with the TAR, did you just replace the files?

Tar is just another Zip format. I’m not sure if WinZip unzips Tar files, but I use WinRAR (you can find it on cnet here: https://www.download.com/WinRAR/3000-2250-10007677.html?part=dl-winrar&subj=dl&tag=button). Just treat the tar file like a zip file. Same process.

I did that, now I get something else (on the upgrade.php) The new error is…

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/underbur/public_html/wp-admin/upgrade-functions.php on line 30

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/underbur/public_html/wp-admin/upgrade-functions.php on line 88

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/underbur/public_html/wp-admin/upgrade-functions.php on line 96
    Step 1

There’s actually only one step. So if you see this, you’re done. Have fun!

and look at https://www.underburn.com it says it isnt installed!
