Error after upgrade to version 0.9.97.48

  • Hello.
    I want to share my experience. I use Rank Math SEO. After updating Accelerated Mobile Pages to version 0.9.97.48, I checked the AMP pages and they successfully passed the test. After that, I posted a record and checked the AMP pages, but they didn’t pass all checks, moreover, all the pages. Reason: The tag “link rel = canonical” is specified in the document several times. Looked in the code, it is, one tag adds Rank Math SEO (at the very top), and the second is probably Accelerated Mobile Pages (a little lower). Returned to version 0.9.97.45, everything is fine, all pages go through the test. For the sake of experiment, I updated it again to version 0.9.97.48 and all pages were tested. I understand that the problem occurs after the publication. While back on version 0.9.97.45. Hope this helps fix the error.
    Another experiment. When the pages were not tested, I tried to disable AMP support in the Rank Math SEO plugin. Pages passed the test, but this is not an option, because Rank Math SEO code disappears. And when turned on, then again two “link rel = canonical”.
