Error after upgrading Debian Wheezy to Jennie

  • I have three WordPress 4.5.1 sites running on my Debian server ( https://www.aequitasgroup.org, https://www.angelswords.com, and https://www.intellaquest.net ). After doing a dist-upgrade from Wheezy to Jennie yesterday two of the three sites are working perfectly, yet one (aequitasgroup.org) is broken, showing only a page result of (browser independent):

    '3'); ?>

    And page source of (also browser independent):

    <?
$Global = array('type' => '3');
?>

    I’ve dropped and restored the MySQL DB for the broken site and also restored the file directory from backup. Still same error. Any ideas?

    UPDATE
    I manually killed the Wordfence plugin and have the dead site back up and running (Wordfence is running on the other two unbroken sites). Now just cannot get into the wp-admin/ area due to 500 internal server errors.
