error and site fail after activating this bp-template pack plugin

  • after activating…..any pages in the the whole site can not be visited any more
    will get below warning in browser:

    Fatal_error: Cannot redeclare bp_dtheme_ajax_querystring() (previously declared in /data1/www/htdocs/64/shity/1/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-themes/bp-default/_inc/ajax.php:91) in wp-content/themes/custom-community/_inc/ajax.php on line 81

    can any one please tell me what’s going on and how to fix it?
    i have to activate this plugin, because it’s required as a precondition by a theme i want to use.

  • Custom Community theme already contains BuddyPress theme files the last time I checked, so do not activate BP Template Pack plugin with this theme.

    If you were going to use another WP theme, activate that first and then activate BP Template Pack and go through Appearance > BP Compatibility process.
