Error “Apple Pay Not Completed”

Hello,
When trying to check out with Apple Pay, our customers are receiving a message that says:
“Apple Pay Not Complete
This website was not able to complete the payment. Please try again.”The strange thing is that the order actually does get created successfully in WooCommerce. But there is no indication to the customers. So the customers are seeing this message, and attempting to place the order again. The second attempt will show the error message again. And then another order is actually placed, resulting in a duplicate order.
Any ideas how to solve this? I used my iPhone to replicate the bug. I have a screenshot and also the WooCommerce and Stripe log data if it would be helpful in troubleshooting this.
