After first installation everything seems to work. However, anytime I try to run a scan I get the following error.

An error occurred Your browser sent an invalid security token to Wordfence. Please try reloading this page or signing out and in again.

If I go into the Live Traffice section, the spinner just keeps spinning none stop, yet it says it is idle.

I deactivated all my plugins, logout and back in and refreshed pages multiple time, no results. Anything I click on generates that error. Switching from “No performance..” to “2 or 3..” also pops the small error window. The scan sometimes seems to run for about a couple of seconds then stops.

    I appreciate your assistance.

  • Hi

We’re sorry you are having issues. Can you go to your options page and select the option that doesn’t cache your config? Should be towards the bottom of the page. Then try a scan again

Let me know if this helps

    Thanks!

    Hi Tim,

Thank you for your assistance. I did that, several times, but when I click Save, it gives me the same error.

Do you have any other caching plugins on the site?

I previous had WP Super Cache installed but deactivated it before installing Wordfence. It is completely deleted now, even the server files that get cached for WPSC in folder backup-db.

I can give you access to my site if need to take a look.

UPDATE: I totally removed Wordfence and replace htaccess file with original. Reinstalled it, and still same error. No other plugin is installed. Using WP 4.0, Wordfence v. 5.2.2.

If you want to grant access, email me at tim [at] wordfence.com. I can’t get to it right this second but will check as soon as I am able.

Tim, thank you for your assistance. Super!

Problem solved. Issue had to do with a function inside my functions.php file.

    Thank you much.
