red error button for facebook like

  • Hi, just installed the plugin. I’m getting a red error button for facebook like no matter what I do. I tried all different versions of the plugin, putting in http, https with and without www into the according text field for my facebook page but no luck. I’m on wordpress 4.75 theme is Divi.
    Anything I can do to get this up and running? Thank you in advance

    maybe stupid question…but you are logged in to Facebook, right? The page says “published”.

    Anyway, still no response from the author, ticket was created 3 days ago. On their website it says 1 day response guaranteed. well.

    If anybody who’s got this plug-in up and running (especially the facebook button) is reading this, I would appreciate any kind of help. Maybe even a short Skype session. Really desperate here.

    I’m a pro videographer and Adobe Certified After Effects Expert…so if you need any help on that end, I’d be more than happy to help in return.

    ok I found out what was causing the error:

    My Facebook page visibility was restricted to german speaking countries, since I was getting Likes from middle eastern countries (obviously fake profiles). Opened to all countries now it works.
    I’m located in Germany, as well as my website host so why would it yield this error? ??

    @jvsteen pointed me to the right direction by looking up my page (and being located in the Netherlands obviously). Cheers neighbor and thanks for your help ??

    Same for me too, and it has been ongoing for almost a week now.

    My locker is being used at the URL below, would the developer be able to have a quick look to see what’s wrong?

    Above message is flagged as phishing URL?

    I don’t think so, i could see the message & URL even when I wasn’t logged into WordPress. The IP address URL was used as the site is targeted at internal staff at our company.

    Well, included URL is flagged by my mail client and uBlock in Chrome browser as well.
