This error just started. It had been working fine.
PHP Fatal error: Class ‘mysqli’ not found in /home/usernamehere/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-rss-aggregator/includes/system-info.php on line 69

The “mysqli” has never been checked in Exhaustive list on 3 VPS setups that worked fine, so what’s changed in the new updated code??

    Hi there,
We actually only use mysqli on one page, and that’s to get the MySQL version info on the Debugging page. This was actually added to our code last August so nothing on that front has changed.

If you’re a premium user then we also include the debugging information in our inline support form on the Help page.

When do you see this error?

    Thanks.

I see this error in the php error page. Finally checked this as it stopped working.

This started not very long ago (last or previous update). Current is 4.6.11

The aggregator no longer works as of this error.

It will not fetch anymore items.

I only have the Excerpts & Thumbnails add-on (now 1.9), but it worked after that was updated. No other “premium” status. It’s just be recently for the error and does not function any longer.

No Plugin changes have been made.
Regular WP, etc. updates applied with no seeming problems.
    WP 4.1.1

OK, would you mind submitting a support ticket on our website? That’s how we handle issues our users have with the paid add-ons; this forum is just for users of the free plugin.

When opening a support ticket, can you also elaborate further on what you mean by the “php error page,” and perhaps include admin login details so we can debug this directly? Also, it might be useful to talk to your hosting provider to see if they removed mysqli from the modules loaded by PHP.
