Error Code 500 after theme update

  • Hi I can’t tell you what version of word press I am using as I can not open the dashboard of my blog since I updated the word press theme.

    Can you tell me how to get into my dashboard to try to remove the update?

  • Try switching to the default theme automatically by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    where do I go to rename my current theme’s folder. In other words how do I get inside wp-content/themes to add -old to the end of the folder name.
