  • The you need to ask them to remove the redirect and, instead, point the domain to your new self-hosted site via their name servers. Bear in mind that, once this “transfer” process starts, it may take up to 72 hours to fully complete. So you may find that your new site is unreachable for a couple of days but it should re-appear after that.

Once the domain name has been transferred and you can login back into both sites independently, post a new topic here and we’ll try to talk you through a new export/import. In the meantime, you might want to edit the problem post and change its status back to Draft or Pending Review so it’s not in public view.

Ok, thank you so much! I will work on the points about.
Regarding the post, it’s not just one. Lots of them have an error code, but not all of them. I would have to take down a quarter of my posts or so.
Thank you for your help. I shall come back once it has been done, thank you! ??

No problem. If you hit any issues along the way, please let us know and we’ll try our best to help.

    Wow, that’s fun!

Would you please try these 3 things?

    1. Switch to another theme (like Twenty Twelve) to see if the problem persists.

    2. If it persists, double-check plugins and make sure especially that you turns off any having to do with “custom” or “meta” data.

    3. If it persists still, edit an affected post, look at the custom meta boxes, and delete one of these meta fields, then reload the post front-end screen.

If the problem still persists, please let us know which theme and plugins you’re using.

Sorry for late response. I have only just seen it.
When I switched to Twenty Twelve theme, the code disappeared, so it must be something to do with the Pinboard theme.
I’ve tried uninstalling all plugins, but the code didn’t go away, so it has to be an error somewhere in the theme.
What is a custom meta box please?
I am using a Pinboard Theme by One Designs, thank you! ??
