Error Code 'translation-install.php'

Need some help guys, just recently left Dreamhost, needed a dedicated server that was in my price range, and they used to have one but not anymore.

At any rate, I had a back up of my site wordpress, installed the database and website things are working fine BUT…. BUT….

I’ve been getting this error

Warning: An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.ads-software.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums. (WordPress could not establish a secure connection to www.ads-software.com. Please contact your server administrator.) in /home/thescenereleases/public_html/wp-admin/includes/translation-install.php on line 59

Now, all I can say is that I have my new host trying to help me out, I think I’m probably the only one that sends them emails every 5 mins. Because, my site is up and down. Sometimes it works sometimes is doesn’t. The Dedicated Server is off and on as well.

There’s big time lag as well. So, right now, I have all my plugins deactivated, actually they did that. So anyone can go and look at the site.

Now, I was going thru plugins myself, turning them off and on, one by one. to see if the lag would stop, and to see if my server would be on still.

Now.. I found someone to sign up for my site. So, I go into my dashboard, browse down to ‘settings’ and that’s where the error code started, no other page does this error code show., I tried to do the whole plugin thing and still the code is there. Now, since i’m not running any plugins, the error code is there.

MY hosting told me to come in here and ask what’s going on.

So, if someone out there is a smart fella please help. Why, am I seeing this error code? I also, updated my wordpress as well.

Did something get muffed up while downloading the new wordpress and with the auto install or something? I mean I have a good size dedicated server that shouldn’t have my site lag as much as it does.

Like, when I make a post, after I hit submit the arrow will turn as to say hey we are working on booting you to the next page, or refreshing the page telling you your post was submiited. NOW!!, when this happens, it will keep loading for a good 5 mins, and you are unable to click any button on that page. Now, I run FF, and i have IE i don’t like IE. I figured I’d try it on a different site, and I don’t recall if it acted up or not.
