Error connecting to AuthorizeNet

In fact this is related to Curl version & settings on your server
The ASYNC DNS for curl needs to be true

You error is server specific so a new plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/authorizenet-woocommerce-lightweight-addon/ can address it

I was able to regenerate the issues and manage it on New plugin

Finally I have answer for you and answer is specifically in this case is

Error connecting to AuthorizeNet

This is a common known error you need to go to your plugins directory and then navigate to following file
authorizenet-woocommerce-addon/lib/lib/shared/AuthorizeNetRequest.php
On Line no 14- Change public $VERIFY_PEER = true; to public $VERIFY_PEER = false;

I keep getting the following error…

The merchant login ID or password is invalid or the account is inactive.

It is working in another ecommerce site that I have, but not in my WordPress Storefront theme.

On Line no 14- Change public $VERIFY_PEER = true; to public $VERIFY_PEER = false;

That didn’t work…

How are you testing Are you using Live account details in sandbox mode ? if so that is not going to work

For testing purpose you need a test account from https://sandbox.authorize.net/

And Live account details will only work in LIVE MODE again for sandbox testing you need to use a new TEST account from here https://sandbox.authorize.net/

Change public $VERIFY_PEER = true; is a different issue

Since I have it working fine on another site, is there a need for test mode…?

There is no need of test mode you can directly use it on new site BUT in live mode But if you want to confirm create a $1 test product and test it in live mode

BUT as far as The error message is concerned that how its related what i linked the thread to you in earlier messege

I’m testing the plugin which I like very much so the order in on woocommer however the order is not coming up on transaction reports authorize.net.
