    Hello
I have trouble that happened between 11 Aug and 13 Aug and i can’t find what gone wrong, i will describe what i did to make it simple, i post it here cause i need to rule out what have gone wrong during this last days.

The issue i m having is related to images and this happen when there are allot of them to display.
Before the issue manifested i did this.

    1.WP update to 5.5v
2.gp premium update (already talked with their support)
    3.some forum plugins updated
    4.classic editor update
    5. i was having issues with wpForo and their Advanced Attachments add-on for a couple of months, they gave me a code around this recent time which i added to functions php see this link.

After this the next day i try to log in and i got this error in forum, see picture, if i would go directly to log in through wp-login php the page would just refresh.
    <<Image Link 1>>

Then i went directly to PHPmyadmin and did a whole database repair, and when i went to login it worked but before going to admin area a page appeared after i inserted login credentials asking me to confirm that my admin email was not changed and if is proper (did not take a screenshot) after i confirmed that the email is proper i was logged.
Then i went directly to site health and got this error.
    <<Image Link 2>>

Then the ERROR CONNECTION REFUSED begin to manifest in Media Library and Gallery posts with allot of images, this happen when they load and stop suddenly causing my whole VPS server to reboot for around 30 seconds and all 4 sites i have are down.
    <<Image Link 3>>
    <<Image Link 4>>

    I did this troubleshooting steps.
    1. downgrading WP to before 5.5v (then test)
    2. switching themes (then test)
    3. disabling plugins (then test)
    4. restoring database prior to error (then test)
    5. testing new site with only Dynamic Watermark enabled on the same VPS server and same error happened even without updated WP 5.5 version. (then test)
    6. disabled core lazy load feature (then test)

And of course i found that the issue is caused by Dynamic Watermark plugin but, but, but all my plugins were working very good until 11 aug even after i moved from SG to DreamHost in may.

So i have contacted the hosting to ask if they did some changes, and they say that no they did not do any changes to the server, after longer chats by email they suggested to use SSH and troubleshoot because this is related to RAM so my site have begin suddenly to eat allot of RAM which i doubt.

I did what they recommended and this what is happening when viewing using Putty software.
    <<Image Link 5>>

And did inspect element, this what show.
    <<Image Link 6>>
    <<Image Link 7>>

I also did a google search on this error but most of people have problem accessing the whole site.
In conclusion i have no idea what happened, this new updates, that weird code added to functions php maybe damaged something on my server or the hosting have implemented some limitations to resources usage without recognizing it maybe they think (well now WP has core Lazy Loading let’s limit memory usage).

If someone can shed some light that is highly appreciated, thank you!

As you observed, the issue is in the watermarking plugin. Image requests appear to be routed through their servers, so I’m guessing the change was something on their end. I recommend seeking assistance through the watermarking service’s dedicated support channel. They know better than anyone how their watermarking works and what the trouble might be.

    Hello dear Moderator.
I not really understand what you mean, my images are on my Dream Host Server and the images are processed locally through protect.php file in Dynamic Watermark plugin, so every image in /uploads/ dir gets watermarked automatically with non permanent watermark.

The other idea which was getting in to my head is that the plugin developer was passing my images through their remote server, maybe saving them on their end, who knows it’s not excluded (you can see that there are a bunch of files and codes in this plugin), if this is the case then it is very possible that now they no longer process my images and that is the reason of this whole error.

Else Dream Host staff added some limitations to the “VPS” server which in reality is a shared one, they think i m a fool and don’t know about this. ??

The Dynamic Watermark plugin was improved as per my request to developer to add the ability to watermark User ID which no plugin had such out there, i did some donations for this but he no longer reply even in the Plugin related forum there is no sign of him, and of course all this no support is related to money, cause for many plugin developers is not feasible to support a free plugin.

In short everything was working even on Godaddy, Site Ground and now Dream Host, it just have stop working for unknown reasons after latest WP update, but of course i don’t blame it, something else have happened.

Thank you for taking the time to replay!
P.s. sorry for my poor English, it’s not my natives language.

Today I also don’t understand what led me to speculate about routing through plugin dev’s servers. I apparently misinterpreted something. Apologies for any confusion. It seems your server is resource limited in some manner. Whether it’s memory or something else, and whether the overage makes sense or not, I couldn’t say.

We could try to narrow down the cause of excessive resource usage. Install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. Enter troubleshooting mode. This switches themes and disables all plugins for your view only. Others still see your normal site. If images now load OK, restore your theme and plugins, one at a time, through the troubleshooting admin bar item. Check image loading after each. When the problem returns, the last activated module is the cause.

You can see in my first post that i tested only with Dynamic Watermark plugin and it still was causing this error, from my experience with Godaddy and SiteGround, when something suddenly happens it’s a server problem made by host intentionally, after moving the issue was resolving based on my previous moves, i now know how they work and what they do with cheap packages they offer, not sure with those expensive ones, also i know they read my private emails and see if i make money and i m sure it’s related with this. I barely can pay for hosting and site maintenance, thanks God i can manage everything and even can edit codes and take care of other server related maintenance if not i would be spending a bunch of money. So big thanks to WordPress it have helped me and i m sure of other people to earn money.

Well there is nothing more to add hope some day it will be clear what happened.
Also thank you for taking the time to support me, wish you a great day.

This problem is solved not sure or WP last update or Server side problem, not sure who was behind it but glad it went away.
