Error: [contact-form-7 404 "Not Found"]

  • Hey everyone! I don′t get this plugin to work anymore. Before it worked perfectly, but not now…

    I am using this version now: contact-form-7.3.0.2.1
    Before (when I got the problem) I used: contact-form-7.3.0.1
    And I have also tried an older version: contact-form-7.2.4.6

    When I tried the older version, it was bland. When i used the two 7.3.0.x.x i got this message:
    [contact-form-7 404 “Not Found”]
    when I looked at the post.

    I typed this code:

    [contact-form-7 id=”123″ title=”Namnl?s”]

    And that′s from this one:

    <p>Ditt namn (obligatoriskt)
    [text* your-name] </p>

    <p>Din e-post (obligatoriskt)
    [email* your-email] </p>

    <p>?mne
    [text your-subject] </p>

    <p>Ditt meddelande
    [textarea your-message] </p>

    <p>[submit “Skicka”]</p>

    I can add that I have multi-site. And on 1 theme, it works, on the other I get the error abowe.

    What am I doing wrong?

    This error shows that your short code is not correct and it can’t find a contact form which has specified ID. Make sure you are using correct short code shown in the admin page of Contact Form 7.

    The short code syntax is changed when Contact Form 7 3.0 is released, but old syntax short code is still available because old information is taken over automatically when you upgrade the plugin. So you don’t need to modify all the short codes you’ve inserted.

    Make sure you are using correct short code shown in the admin page of Contact Form 7.

    The strange thing is that I have tried to use the standard that′s given from start. But that dident work either…

    When i′m done with designing it as I want, I press “Save” than i copy it and paste it in a page. Anything wrong there?

    If you use other plugins, once try deactivating them for ruling out conflicting case. Also try switching to the default theme at the same time.

    It have worked once with this theme. Than one day it dident… So I don′t belive that it′s that.

    I have installed 1 plugin. I believe that′s the reason then. But I need that plugin.

    What to do? Can I try an older version?

    I tried to unactivate the plugin “latest post”. But nothing happened…
