I have this error at the plugin, I currently disabled it.
In these days I have noticed a high consumption of the server resources.

I also see other people have problems, what are you waiting for for a upgrade?

I did some tests, installing version 4.15.0, I changed the PHP in 8.0, but the problem exists.

Same error here. Seems that the plugin contains an outdated version of PHP-DI (6.0.2 where 7.0.5 is latest). Please fix asap.

To everyone here waiting for an official: You might want to check if you have one of these incompatible plugins activated on your site. I had to roll back BackWPup from 4.0.1 to 4.0.0, and this fixed Matomo for me somehow.

Hi Everyone. This error is highly related with incompatible plugin. Please see the list of incompatible plugins on this link.

If you are not using any plugins on the link, kindly disable all of your plugins and activate the Matomo for WordPress plugin. Then, please try to activate your other plugins one by one and let us know which plugin is not compatible.
