WTH, installed the plugin on 5.9 for the first time.

I changed my login URL under the General Settings. and now I get:

Error: cookies are blocked or not supported by your browser. You must enable cookies to use WordPress.

    What is up with that?
    – I tried clearing cookies/history in the browser
    – Also, a different newly installed browser
    – Also, SFTP into the WP and renamed the wps hide plugin directory.

Still resorts to my new admin URL and Cookies blocked!

    So my site is broken.

    Hello,

Thanks foru using WPS Hide Login.

Are you using cache plugin or CDN ? Theses kind of tools may cache wp-login.php page and wp-admin pages. You’ll have to deactivate those functionalities.

You can deactivate the plugin by FTP renaming wps-hide-login folder and/or delete whl_page line in your wp-options database table.

    Thanks for your reply.

    I solved it earlier today.

After I renamed the plugin directory I found a way to access the wp-admin via the web hosting portal which seemed to have reset or kicked it back in to action. I am able to login now.

I might disable wp-hide login for a bit, I wish to use Wordfence with it also not sure if that also caused the issue.

    Cheers.

I got the same error, but only at the first login attempt. I solved it by excluding
the old and new login path from catching by the WP-optimize plugin I use:

WP-Optimize > Cache > Advanced settings > URLs to exclude from caching :

    /mynewwp-admin/
    /wp-admin/
