Error counting total posts in the Calypso panel

I recently reconnected my website to Jetpack. In the process, I deleted the old installation of my website from the old server, did a new installation of the website on a new server (keeping the address), but purposely without importing the old content. However, I noticed that Jetpack continues to count the old articles in terms of the number of draft and scheduled posts, when I look at the Calypso panel.

Is this the expected behavior? Is it possible to stop Jetpack from counting old posts on the site?
