• Hi there,

    We receive an error when address line 2 is filled out by our customers (shipping within Germany). However, in the DHL Business Customer Portal, you can fill out up to 3 “name” fields and use them for additional info.

    Please advice on how to use address line 2 without creating an error?

    Thank you!

    What is the error you are receiving and can you give an example of what is in address 1 and 2 (without actual customer details)?

    @shadim Thank you for your fast response.

    The error is “Could not create label – In der Sendung trat mindestens ein harter Fehler auf.”.

    In this case, our customers use address 1 for street name AND number and they use address 2 to add some kind of additional info (e.g., apartment, room xy, …). When we add this info manually to the name field and clear address 2, it works. So the error seems to be created when processing address 2.

    Thank you!

    @shadim Of course.

    However, I think others might also be interested in the solution (I also found some familiar topics but have not found a solution at the end of the topic).

    So could you please describe if and how address field 2 (when used for additional and not the street number) is handled by the plugin when everything works fine (shipping within Germany)?

    Thank you.

    You should be able to use the address 2 field as you described it, which is why I recommend we review your specific issue directly on your site.
