Error creating payment intent with Stripe

    Hello,

    I have a Give WP donation forms on the website. The plugin is configured, webhook is correct but when I try to make donation via Stripe it responds 302 with error message “Error creating payment intent with Stripe. Please try again.” Reproduces in test mode and in live mode. The Stripe support told it’s not on their side.

    Please help!

    Have you gotten anywhere with this? We were having other issues with donations not going through with GiveWP and just upgraded to the latest version and now we are seeing this.

    Do you have the current version (2.9.2) of GiveWP? This started happening right after we installed this version. No other changes were made to our configuration.

    Now I have 2.9.1

    OK, we were fine with 2.9.1 but have this issue now with 2.9.2

    I’m not sure if this helps you, but rolling back to version 2.9.1 resolved the issue for us. GiveWP initially suggested that there was a conflict with some plugins but disabling them did not resolve the issue. It was only resolved when we reverted to the prior version of GiveWP. When I contacted them last week about a different issue, they mentioned that they are working on a patch but I’m not sure if that would help you. Good luck!

    How do you roll back ??? to 2.9.1

    I used a plugin (appropriately named Rollback) I don’t know enough about it to recommend it, but it worked in this case and I am not seeing anything else funky. (fingers crossed!)

    Hi,

    That error (“Error creating payment intent with Stripe. Please try again.”) can popup if there’s a javascript error on the page that prevents the form from processing the payment.
