    Hi @dennistennis,

    Thanks for reporting this!

Please change the theme to Storefront, deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce and try to update the database from WooCommerce > Status > Tools > Update database.

Ideally, you’d want to do this using a staging site without affecting the production site. It’s possible to do it using the free WP Staging plugin if your host does not include this feature.

Let us know how it goes.

We are a super-hoster ourselves, and yes, this is one a staging site.

Re-running a database update only shows the /RuleEvaluator.php on line 61 error from the other topic.

In wc_pb_db_updates-2022-02-03-7deec250c487ba990cb4c3fb46043fd0.log, there was no error (yesterday, first time):
2022-02-03T12:03:02+00:00 INFO Database version is 6.13.3.

In wc_cp_db_updates-2022-02-03-fe6721cc58442ba1a68f3aed71056299.log, there was no error (yesterday, first time):
2022-02-03T12:03:02+00:00 INFO Database version is 8.3.7.

Any subsequent re-updates are not shown here.

Question: So what did these errors mean? We noticed that, for example, “Products per Row” has changed from 2 to 3 against our will.

    Hi @dennistennis,

Essentially, these notices will occur if your PHP code attempts to reference an object property that does not exist. I would reinstall WooCommerce after disabling all other plugins and changing the theme to the default Storefront.

Once WooCommerce core is reinstalled, perform a database update and check that all database tables are saved correctly (Verify base database tables).

    Hi Mirko,

    – We also understand PHP errors. The WooCommerce development team needs to look at the specificity of these errors and then, fix and/or report back to us.

    – Your standard copy+paste responses with Theme Resetting + Reinstalling were already done and, of course, did not make a difference.

    – How can you redo a database upgrade if it has already been performed? No, we don’t backup our staging sites.

    – Why did “Products per Row” change from 2 to 3 against our will during the last WooCommerce upgrade?

    Hi @dennistennis

Thanks for highlighting the issues. These need to be taken a closer look into.

We are a heavy, long-term, paid WooCommerce users.

If you are using one or more of our premium extensions then please create a support ticket with us via WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to log into your WooCommerce account before you can access that page.
    ?
Please include a link to this forum thread, so that we can keep track of what’s already been done.
    ?
We will be able to help you further there.

It will be very helpful for our team if you include a copy of your site’s System Status while opening your ticket. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it in your ticket.

    Cheers!
