ERROR: Dropbox API: (403) Unable to parse OAuth parameters from Authorization he

  • DropBox & BackWPup weren’t communicating well (error messages!) so I updated the plugin to v3.1.1 and it was able to backup to DropBox again. Then I updated WordPress to 3.8, and now I’m getting “ERROR: Dropbox API: (403) Unable to parse OAuth parameters from Authorization header.”

    It looks like DropBox & BackWPup are back to not being able to communicate.

    Anything I can do to help?

    can ypu look in the options table of the wordpress installation?

    If the a option with the name backwpup_cfg_dropboxappkey or backwpup_cfg_dropboxappsecret? Please delete them both.

    Hi Daniel-

    I really appreciate your response. I took a look at the option names inside the wp_options table and I don’t see either ‘backwpup_cfg_dropboxappkey’ or ‘backwpup_cfg_dropboxappsecret’.

    And when I try to run the job manually, I’m still getting the same error message.

    (p.s. I wish the Logs page showed times and dates. Those boxes are checked in the Screen Options section, but they still don’t show. Bummer!)
