Error establishing a database connection

    I am using WordPress 2.7. I have been getting this message since Friday and I don’t know how to fix it. My site was working fine until Friday. I did not change anything so I don’t know what caused the problem. Can some please help. Thanks.

    The two likliest causes are; a) your database server is offline b) your host decided to do a password reset. One of my clients had plan b happen to them about 6 months ago as part of “security enhancement”. Either way, if you have not already you should check with your host Tech Support.
