error establishing a database connection

    I keep getting this error lately and i am just about to put the finishing touches on the site. it appears to be posted in a WP type font and format and tells me to go to the Forums. Any ideas on how to conveniently troubleshoot this? I really need to finish up…

    double check your database info in wp-config.php and check with your host what needs to used as host as some use other then localhost.
