Error establishing a database connection

    Hello, I’m having trouble getting wp to connect to the database. I’ve setup a new database I’ve put the login and password to the db in the config file and still won’t connect. Do I have to give the path to the db?

    You need 4 (four) pieces of info put correctly into the wp-config.php file. Do you have all of them and do you have them correctly?

    I found the problem, I needed to change DB host in the config file and give it the path to my DB.
