Error establishing a database connection

  • I’ve just upgraded to the latest version of Social Warfare and received the following message on my dashboard:

    “Important: We’ve just made some significant upgrades to your Social Warfare – Pro license. You will need to grab your license key and re-register the plugin. Read the full details to find out why this change was necessary.”

    Hovever, when I try to connect to my account I’m getting this error:

    “Error establishing a database connection”

    Could you advise?

    Hi guys,

    So sorry about this! Our server has been down for most of the day – we are working as quickly as possible to get it back up and running. Once the site is accessible our team will be responding to support tickets via the website, as we don’t actively monitor these forums.

    This was marked as resolved, but I too have been trying all day.

    I appreciate you’re having problems, but 10 hours after you marked this as resolved your server is still down.

    Same problem for me, the subject is not solved

    Have sent support message inside my Social Warfare Plugin account.
    For anyone else here, it seems that at my WP site that the problem is with Warfare Pro and not the free (core) version. I cleared browser cache & with lots of waiting, due to slowness of site, able to log into my WP and de-activate my Pro version of the plugin. Doing that has resolved the slow or no loading of my site and I will re-activate Pro once this issue’s resolved. Meantime, my site is now running fine on just the free (core) version of the plugin, until I can activate the Pro version – after I hear back via my Warfare plugin support ticket. Hope this is helpful to someone here.

    I’ve been able to get through to the account server now, so have my new code. All fixed here.
